I am a passionate sports person with a love of golf, hockey and badminton. Prior to joining Le Cheile and The Lex Group, I was the General Manager of Close Premium Finance and Director of General Services at the IBA. I ama keen golfer. I am an APA in Commercial General Insurance, have an LLB in Law from Nottingham Trent University, Masters in Management & H.Dip in Business Studies from UCD Smurfit Business School, CALF (Aviation Leasing & Finance) from Irish Law Society, MAPR (Marketing, Advertising and PR) from DBS and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.

Prior to joining The Lex Group, I was a proprietary trader in the futures market, held roles within the hedge fund industry, marketing manager for an international fashion house, Risk for Betfair and held Management roles in the wholesale & retail supply chain within the food sector.

I have worked in the Lloyd’s and London Market for over 25 years, having worked for small boutique operations, national groups and large internationals, the most recent being A J Gallagher. I have gathered experience in multiple lines of insurance, with specialisms in Construction, Property, Sports Personal Accident and Global Programs. I joined The Lex Group in 2016 and now operate over all divisions as Broking Director, utilising my wide understanding of the market and relationships with the key Underwriters of the Industry.

I have 20 years working in the Insurance and Investment Industry. As a Qualified Financial Advisor, Retirement Planner and a Specialist in Investment Advice, I have managed insurance and wealth on behalf of executives, directors, company owners, retirees, families and charities. I have worked in several of Irelands largest Insurance and Investment Companies including Aviva Life & Pensions as well as Cantor Fitzgerald and Davy Stockbrokers. I’m a former rugby professional and a keen golfer.

Josh Moran

Account Executive

I am a financial advisor with a focus on L&P, surety bonds, claims support and construction risk. I am a QFA, APA and SIA and have degrees from IADT Dun Laoghaire, University of Manchester and Oxford University. I focus on data analysis and use actionable risk data and ESG risk practices in order to drive down risk costs and reduce risk asymmetries. I am an avid hiker and volunteer with the Bray Lakers football programme. Prior to joining The Lex Group, I held positions in Griffith College, Moran Financial Services and St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
